Cynthia Landesberg
Co-Director
Cynthia is a homeschool mom of three kids. She began homeschooling in September 2019 when her oldest son was entering Kindergarten, and it has turned into a family passion. She loves the way homeschool can be individually tailored to each child, celebrates a child's development as a whole person, and allows for a more relaxed lifestyle for the family.

The one thing Cynthia felt was missing from the family's homeschool experience was a regular social outlet for herself and her children. Therefore, she began this co-op in 2021, with another outstanding homeschool mom, with the goal of creating a consistent and welcoming community for play and learning. She cannot wait to see WEH continue to grow and adapt through the diversity of its members.

Bruna Genovese
Co-Director
Bruna started homeschooling her daughter in the Fall of 2020, for kindergarten. She originally intended for it to be a temporary solution during the Covid-19 pandemic, but they have never looked back. In the Fall of 2024, her two young sons happily joined in on the fun.
A former Spanish teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools, Bruna loves the way that homeschooling allows her to honor each of her children's unique interests and learning styles. That being said, some days are really hard. She treasures the friendship and fellowship that her family has found with WEH, and is grateful to be in community with others who are committed to raising kind, thoughtful, globally-minded kids.
